A brief summary of the story of David and Goliath…
The Philistine army had gathered for war against Israel. A giant Philistine champion warrior named Goliath came out each day for 40 days, mocking and challenging the Israelites to fight him. Saul, the King of Israel then, and the whole army were terrified of Goliath. A young teenager named David offered himself to King Saul to fight Goliath. After much persuasion, King Saul finally agreed to let David confront Goliath.
Are you facing any “Goliath” obstacle in your life that seems too big for you to overcome? David’s faith in God enabled him see Goliath from a different perspective. If we learn to face “Goliath” problems from God’s perspective, we’ll have complete faith that God will confront and overcome the gigantic problems together with us.
